Miscarriage can it happen to me?
Miscarriage is a difficult and emotional experience, and it's natural to worry if it might happen to you. Unfortunately, miscarriages are more common than many realise, affecting about 1 in 4 pregnancies. Most occur in the first trimester, often before a woman even knows she's pregnant.
It's important to remember that a miscarriage is rarely caused by anything you did. In most cases, it happens due to genetic factors or complications during early development. If you've experienced a miscarriage, know that it doesn't mean you can't go on to have a healthy pregnancy in the future. Many women who have had a miscarriage go on to have successful pregnancies.
Taking care of yourself both physically and emotionally is crucial during this time. If you have concerns or notice unusual symptoms during your pregnancy, such as bleeding or severe cramping, it's important to reach out to your healthcare provider for support and guidance.
Remember, you don't have to go through this alone. There are many resources, including support groups and counselling, we are always available to support and help you.
